ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Uncertain period, circa AH 200-400 = circa AD 800-1000. Bracteate (Billon, 27 mm, 1.30 g), a contemporary imitation of an Abbasid Dirham, uncertain mint somewhere in Europe. Imitative Kufic legend in inner field and in the inner and outer margin. Rev. Incuse of obverse. Nicely toned. Holed and slightly double struck, otherwise, very fine.
